“Knowing About, but not Knowing”, John 5:39-43. As we come into the Christmas season, we start seeing all the decorations including the manger scene. Most people can tell you all the participants on that Holy Night. Knowing the significance of that event and the gift that was provided is very crucial to our eternity in Heaven. Mere knowledge of the event is not enough. Many Jews of the day just could not accept the gift that was right in front of them. Why? It all starts with the Scriptures!
