“The Love of THE Father”, 1 John 3:1-5. Happy Father’s Day to all the dads today. Today is a day to show dad some love. Take him to Bass Pro, WalMart, Dollar General, etc. It’s a great time to love on him. Today, we look at Scripture and see how much love the Father showers on us. It’s so much, so cleansing, so healing, that he allows us to be called his sons and daughters!

"The LORD is MY Shepard", Psalm 23. Sometimes the treasure of the 23rd Psalm is lost in our grief of a loved one. When we look at each word of every verse, we see just how much the Lord loves his sheep.

“The Established Word of God”, 1 John 2:9-17. Many folks all over the country have invoked the name of God in many discussions this week. It’s amazing how far away from the one true God they can be in order to justify sinful behavior. “If” you are truly a Christian, there is a clearly defined NEW LIFE that is not only evident to others, but evident to the Lord.

“The Stages of Temptation”, Genesis 3:6. Everybody deals with temptation from the moment you wake up until bedtime. It’s especially an issue with believers because we have been delivered from an old life to a new life. The old ways keep wanting to take over. The Holy Spirit gives us the power over sin. We must always guard what comes into the eyes before it makes it into the heart.

“Moving Forward with God”, Joshua 1:1-9. This week we have celebrated so many milestones in the life of our students all over the country. The process was different for sure, but life is moving on. God’s promises for his people had not changed at the death of Moses. His people had a new leader, a new season, and a fresh vision. God’s promise to give, protect, and sustain was unwavering. He promises the same for us today. Are you walking with the Lord?

“Go or No”, Matthew 19:16-22. The most important question we could ever ask is how can we inherit eternal life. Salvation has always been a work of God and not of man. That is one of the most difficult things for unbelievers to come to terms with. When we fully realize it’s a gift, it truly becomes the Gospel to us.

CBC Sunday Morning Service. “The Power, Wisdom, and Glory of God”, 1 Corinthians 1:18-31. Churches everywhere today will preach something. Some will preach Jesus while others will never mention his name. Through the reading and preaching of the Word, we see God’s heart for man and God’s desire to glorify himself through man. It all begins in knowing exactly who HE is.
